FilmL.A. is pleased to support On Location: The Los Angeles Video Project, presented by NewFilmmakers LA (NFMLA).
On Location is a multimedia community outreach program that celebrates Los Angeles and enlists L.A.’s remarkable pool of filmmakers to help tell the City’s stories to the world. Attendees at event screenings gain insider perspectives into our diverse, cosmopolitan city and its neighborhoods.
NFMLA is currently seeking submissions from local filmmakers for this year’s On Location event. Filmmakers are encouraged to tell their stories in a narrative, documentary, commercial or animation format. Those interested can click here for specifics; the only other requirement is that the film positively highlight Los Angeles in a way that will resonate with worldwide audiences.
In addition to a screening opportunity, films selected for On Location have a shot at winning more than $50,000 in prizes!
On Location is presented by NewFilmmakers LA with the support of the City of Los Angeles and and LA Weekly. Other 2014 sponsors include the AT&T Center, FilmL.A., and SAG-AFTRA.
