Effective April 16, 2020, FilmLA will discontinue coordination of filming, production basecamps, and related activities on behalf of the Los Angeles Community College District. The contract between FilmLA and the District expires on that date, and will not be renewed.
Currently, all on-location filming in Greater Los Angeles is on hiatus while state, County, and City Safer at Home orders are in effect to limit the spread of COVID-19. When on-location filming resumes in Greater Los Angeles, filming inquiries and applications for permission to film at LACCD-affiliated colleges will be managed by each school at the campus level.
As a service to the industry, FilmLA will publish a list of campus filming contacts. Until then, FilmLA’s Solution Services team will remain available at (213) 977-8600 or at info@filmla.com to direct filmmakers to campus representatives.
