The City of Santa Monica will impose a holiday moratorium that will go into effect on November 27th and run through January 2, 2020. During the holiday moratorium, filming and production parking will not be permitted in commercial areas of the city.
The areas affected by the moratorium are:
–Downtown Santa Monica including Wilshire Boulevard (north), Lincoln Boulevard (east), The 10 Freeway (south), Ocean Avenue (west).
–Main Street from Pico Boulevard to Marine Street.
–Montana Avenue from 6th Court to 17th Court.
–Pico Boulevard from the Pacific Ocean to Centinela Avenue.
While some exceptions may be made for very small/low impact shoots, please allow additional time (beyond the normal 5 business days) for waiver approval.
