The Los Angeles City Fire Department has informed FilmLA that effective November 18, 2024, the hourly billing rate for a Uniformed Fire Safety Officer (UFSO) will increase from $122.00 per hour to $127.00 per hour.
Additionally, the Los Angeles City Film Spot Check Fee will also increase from $271.00 per permit to $287.00 per permit.
Policies regarding UFSO assignment will not change, including the four-hour minimum, plus 1 hour of travel time.
