The Sixth Street Viaduct Project has notified FilmL.A. that construction will begin in the 6th Street Tunnel (area under the 6th Street Bridge) on July 1, 2016 resulting in the closure of the tunnel at 6th Street.
For safety, this closure will remain in effect until the construction of the new Sixth Street Bridge has been fully completed.
Areas around the tunnel and under the Sixth Street Bridge are still available for filming during construction.
