The Los Angeles Police Department has informed FilmL.A. that it has received an increased number of public assembly permit requests for activities commencing on Inauguration Day 2017.
As a precaution, the LAPD will be under tactical alert to ensure public safety during planned demonstrations in high traffic areas. During this time, officers will be unavailable for filming related details.
Officers previously assigned to a filming detail may be pulled without notice.
The Los Angeles Police Department apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause production crews.
