Protests to Affect Filming in Downtown Los Angeles November 3-6

On November 4, 2017 there will be a Nationwide Refuse Fascism protest affecting major areas of the city.

The Los Angeles Police Department along with nationwide law enforcement in major metropolitan areas have been preparing for the number of people this event will draw.

LAPD officers will be on heightened alert from Friday, November 3rd through Monday, November 6th.

A major police operation will be assigned to the downtown Los Angeles area on Saturday, November 4th.

Currently, the LAPD Film Unit will be unavailable for film detail and will be denying requests for film activity in the downtown area from Friday, November 3rd starting at noon through 6 am on Monday, November 6th.

The Department of Transportation has been instructed to not allow postings in the DTLA area for any events outside of the 1st Amendment permit currently in process.
