The Bicycle Transit System (BTS) has released a list of fees associated with the relocation and or removal of Metro Bike Share Stations for with production activity. Removal/relocation options vary (from 1- 4) based on the type of removal/relocation requested.
All relocation/removal requests are subject to the following terms set by Metro:
- All requests must be approved by Metro.
- All options require a minimum 7 days’ notice to proceed.
- If less than 7 days’ notice is provided a 25% penalty will be applied to total fee.
**Exceptions: Removal/relocation Options 1-3 may be approved for shorter notice on a case by case basis.

Pricing list for Metro Bike Share station shut down and relocation
Option 1:
Station shut down, docked bicycles left on site: $290.00
Price includes 4 hours of service interruption and inspection of the station and bicycles once service is reactivated. Additional hours charged at $90.00 per hour. Option only available if the site is secured with no possible public access to the station.
Option 2:
Station shut down and bicycles stored on site by Bicycle Transit Staff: $465.00
Price includes 4 hours of supervision, additional hours charged at $90.00 per hour.
Option 3:
Station shut down and blcycies removed from site: $929.50
Price includes 1 day of storage, additional days charged at $85.00 per day. Option only available if the site is secured with no possible public access to the station.
Option 4:
Station removed from location, stored and reinstalled: $4,790.50
Station end treatments (signage, bollards, wheel stops): Cost derived from Council File Price includes 7 days’ storage, additional days charged at $110.00 per day
Terms:

Payment:
An initial invoice will be issued that will have to be paid in full, prior to the station shutdown and bike and/or station removal. Payments will be accepted by check or credit card in advance. A second invoice will be issued if penalties, additional hours or days need to be billed. Credit Card holder agrees that if a second invoice is issued for additional services the payment wil be processed on initial credit card unless otherwise specified.
