Hosted by the California Film Commission and the FLICS — the Film Liaisons in California Statewide — the Film In California Conference is the largest event held exclusively to promote filming in the state of California. The 2015 conference will be held on Saturday, June 13 at the CBS Studio Center in Studio City from 11a-6p. Special guests include Joe Mantegna of CBS’s Criminal Minds and Jon Huertas of ABC’s Castle. And yes, FilmL.A. will be present to encourage filmmakers to do business in Los Angeles.
Now in its eighth year, the conference celebrates the best California has to offer to entertainment industry professionals. Attendees will learn how to leverage the state’s unmatched production resources, including its incredibly diverse locations and vast production infrastructure statewide.
Highlighting this year is California’s new Film & TV Tax Credit Program 2.0 (the successful outcome of AB 1839). Attendees at this year’s Film in California Conference will learn important details on incentive eligibility, application roll-out dates, and program changes.
In addition to panels and speakers, the conference will again feature a California regional wine tasting reception and trade show. Register today to attend and network with more than 500 Location Professionals, Producers, Directors, Production Executives, Line Producers, UPMs, Production Designers, Still Photographers and New Media and Streaming Video Producers.
