On Sunday, February 23rd, the Metropolitan Transit Authority (METRO) will host CicLAVia – South LA. Beginning at 9 am, area streets in South Central, Florence-Firestone and Watts will be closed to vehicular traffic allowing access to pedestrians, cyclists and more.
Closures are expected to affect Central Avenue between Adams Boulevard and 103rd Streets and 103rd Street between Central Avenue and Grandee Avenue (see map below).
Those traveling in the affected areas should become familiar with street closures and crossing points along the event route.
