In early 2010, FilmL.A. will celebrate the publication of eNEWS’ 24th issue. In just a little under two years, we’ve published nearly 100 articles on a diverse array of topics, from new local film policy developments to camera crane and mount technologies to the role of FilmL.A. Monitors on-location.
We’ve also used eNEWS to link readers to other helpful sources of information, from our own Production Alerts and Permit Process Guides to interesting reports and podcasts produced by others. In October 2009, eNEWS received an Award of Excellence from the Los Angeles Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. We were proud to earn their recognition, but we are even prouder of how much closer eNEWS has brought us to the many stakeholders affected by our work.
eNEWS has become a useful conversation starter, provoking discussions about how to enhance the local environment for filming.
