FilmL.A. staffers take a rest after the Revlon 5K Run / Walk. On May 8, several FilmL.A. staff members participated in the Entertainment Industry Foundation’s Revlon Run/Walk to fight women’s cancers.  The event was held at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum at Exposition Park and featured a 5K Run, 5K Walk and Health Expo, where FilmL.A. manned a booth to connect with and inform the tens of thousands of participants about FilmL.A.’s services to the industry and communities.

FilmL.A. runners were Adrian Fayad, Adriana Flores, Carmen McRae, Erica Wade, Jodi Strong, Scott Kradolfer and Susan Angrisano.  Philip Sokoloski and Todd Lindgren manned the FilmL.A. information booth.

The event was created in 1993 and has become one of the nation’s largest 5K fundraising efforts, with events in L.A. and New York that have generated nearly $60 million for cancer research, treatment and outreach programs.

Our staffers were proud to be involved in the effort to help find new treatments that are being developed to save lives.

“I’m proud to see our employees volunteering for such a worthy cause and encourage them to continue to look for ways to serve our community and connect with our constituents,” said FilmL.A. Director of Human Resources Carmen McCrae.
