PaleyFest LA is a unique, 10-day event that brings television fans together for “meet and greets” with the stars and creators of their favorite shows.  Named for William S. Paley, the founder of CBS and The Paley Center for Media, PaleyFest 2016 is produced with the support of various industry partners.  This year marked FilmL.A.’s second year of sponsorship and participation.

During PaleyFest, devoted television fans line up to catch screenings of upcoming episodes of their favorite shows.  Many screenings also feature Q&A sessions with show runners and featured talent — a real treat for loyal viewers.

The 2016 show lineup featured 10 popular television shows, six of which were proudly made in the Greater Los Angeles region.  Local television shows included Scream Queens, Black-Ish, Supergirl, Scandal, The Big Bang Theory and American Horror Story: Hotel.

“FilmL.A. is proud to co-sponsor the 2016 PaleyFest.  PaleyFest offers a unique opportunity to support home grown projects and local talent specific to the Los Angeles Region,” notes Art Yoon, Executive Vice President for FilmL.A.

Other featured shows at PaleyFest 2016 included Empire, Better Call Saul, Difficult People, and Fear of the Walking Dead.  There was also an “Evening with Dick Wolf” of Law & Order: SVU, Chicago Fire and Chicago Med.
