On Academy Awards night, a lively group of producers and their guests gathered at Planet Dailies at The Grove for the Producers Guild of America’s 4th Annual Oscars Viewing Party. This year marked FilmL.A.’s second year as a sponsor of the event, which was also supported by Passion Roses and Final Draft. Event hosts for 2016 included Megan Mascena, Vice President at PGA, and actor Vincent De Paul (House of Cards).
This year, the event welcome address was delivered by FilmL.A. President, Paul Audley. In his address, Audley reminded attendees about FilmL.A.’s pre-production planning services, which are available to filmmakers free of charge to help make any L.A. area film project a success. In addition to Mr. Audley, other representatives from FilmL.A. were also on hand to answer questions about FilmL.A.’s products and services.
FilmL.A.’s participation was organized by Art Yoon, Executive Vice President for the not-for-profit. Charged with bringing new film projects to Los Angeles, Yoon has spearheaded FilmL.A.’s outreach to PGA and other groups of industry decision makers.
“FilmL.A. is grateful to partner with the Producers Guild in celebrating all of the work done by local talent, above and below the line,” Yoon said.
FilmL.A. extends its congratulations to all the 2016 Academy Award nominees and winners.
