As the Los Angeles Dodgers today mark Opening Day and celebrate 60 memory making years at Dodger Stadium, the City of Los Angeles has game day guidance for filmmakers planning shoots in the vicinity and along transportation routes used by local baseball fans.
Please be reminded that filming, aerial filming, and film parking restrictions are in effect in specific areas on days where there are Dodger games or other public events at Dodger Stadium. These restrictions apply three (3) hours prior to the start of each scheduled game and last until two (2) hours after the game or event has ended. Filmmakers can apply for permits to film nearby on game days, but activity and vehicles must be completely off the street whenever these restrictions are in effect.
Aerial filming activity, whether performed with drones or regular aircraft, is also restricted on game days within a three (3) mile radius of Dodger Stadium. No area flights will be allowed from one (1) hour before scheduled games and other events, until one (1) hour after the game or event ends.
