When you apply for a film permit online with FilmLA, your Permit Application may include 1-5 “Location Authorization” (or “LA”) requests. Each LA is mapped to a street address or other physical space, with associated base camp and/or crew parking locations. When your application is assigned to a FilmLA Production Coordinator, each LA in your application will be evaluated separately, with the nearest prep and film dates and most complex activities processed first. When all requirements have been met and your LAs are approved, those ready for release can be either individually retrieved or distributed as a group.  Each LA can be downloaded and presented as a separate, legally valid film permit.

MyFilmLA requires the use of Google Chrome in order to ensure full functionality and compatibility. For best results, use the latest version of Google Chrome.
