The Los Angeles County Fire Department has informed FilmLA that effective October 1, 2022, the hourly billing rate for a Fire Safety Officer (FSO) will increase from $196.99 per hour to $201.82 per hour.
Please note that the new rates apply regardless of the rank of the individual Fire Department representative assigned to provide FSO services. Policies regarding FSO assignment will not change, including the four-hour minimum.
