The City of Los Angeles has notified FilmL.A. that on January 27, the Sixth Street Viaduct (Bridge) will cease to be available for filming and production-related activity. Demolition will begin on the east side of the bridge (over the 101 freeway) on February 5 and work west. US Rte 101 will also be closed for a 40-hour period from February 5-7.

Leading up to the closure, FilmL.A. is reviewing requests to film in the areas beneath and around the bridge on a case-by-case basis. Production companies filming on nearby private property will be able to access those filming locations.
