As Los Angeles prepares to welcome the Super Bowl, FilmLA has been informed of some potential challenges that productions might face in the coming week.
- California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers will not be available to work on-location from 2/6/22 through 2/13/22. During this time, productions needing to film in unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County will need to secure LA County Sheriff’s officers instead of CHP officers, when required.
- In conjunction with the Super Bowl, the NFL will be hosting various events in the City of Los Angeles. These events may limit availability for filming locations, posted “No Parking” signs and lane and street closures.
